HPL - high pressure decorative laminate’s - consisting of decorative surface layers and core layers are bonded together by a high-pressure process. Compact Laminate is a self-supporting decorative laminate of varying thicknesses that consist of compressed, impregnated kraft papers that have a decorative layer on both sides and a special protective layer in the overlay, allowing the material to have high abrasive resistance.
Compact laminates are made up of many layers of kraft paper and pressed with decorative paper. The thicknesses can range from 2mm-20mm. The result is a decorative and versatile panel with a modern and durable finish. Our 12mm compact laminate worktops are available in all our Mobius decors, with all the innovative features of the Mobius HPL (High Pressure Laminate) and the added benefit of a sleek and modern style for any application.
